U.S. 7-year notes sold at lowest yield in a year

NEW YORK, Jan 29 (Reuters) – The U.S. Treasury Department on Tuesday sold $32 billion in U.S. seven-year government notes at a yield of 2.625 percent, the lowest yield at an auction of this debt maturity since January 2018, Treasury data showed.

The ratio of bids to the amount offered was 2.54, up from 2.46 at the previous seven-year Treasury auction conducted in December. (Reporting by Richard Leong; Editing by David Gregorio)
