Best Amazon Prime Day 2018 deals revealed – but you can’t buy them until midday

If you just can’t wait until Black Friday, don’t worry you don’t have to, because Amazon is kicking off Prime Day 2018 – its biggest annual shopping event of the summer.

The price cuts don’t actually start until midday today (16 July), but the online retail giant has been whetting our appetite with various discounts on coveted products in the build up to the event.

This year UK shoppers can expect double the number of deals compared with Prime Day 2017, with millions of discounted products available across home, tech, electrical appliances fashion and everything else in between on the Amazon website over a 36-hour period that will end at midnight on the 17th July.

Amazon has already teased Prime members with a sneak peek on some of it’s most exciting deals set to hit the internet – including £35 off the Kindle Paperwhite, £74.99 (was £109.00), £40 off the Nvidia Shield TV, £149.99 (was £189.99) and £40 off Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablet, £89.99 (was £129.99).

Remember – Prime Day is exclusively for Amazon Prime members . If you’re not yet a member, Amazon has announced that you can take advantage of the deals through their Amazon Prime 30-day free trial, alternatively bargain-hunters can sign up for £7.99 a month or £79 for an entire year.
