China’s 1st-half outbound direct investment up 19%

BEIJING–China’s outbound direct investment in the first half of the year rose 18.7% compared with the same period a year ago to $57.18 billion, said the Ministry of Commerce on Tuesday.

In January-May period, China’s ODI increased 38.5% from a year earlier to $47.89 billion, according to official data.
